- Friday 30 December On arrival, enjoy a warming glass of mulled wine and a chance to meet fellow guests. Dinner this evening will be served in the restaurant followed by live entertainment late into the night.
- Saturday 31 December Breakfast is served from 8.00am till 10.00am. Afterwards, there is plenty of time to relax or do that last bit of shopping before the old year is out. Lounge Bar is open all day for those who do not want to venture too far. The evening celebrations start at 6.00pm with a Champagne cocktail and canapés followed by an exquisite 5-course Scottish banquet with traditional entertainment. A lone piper will welcome in the New Year “Oban-style”, listen to the countdown and hear all the Caledonian Ferries blast their Fog Horns simultaneously to welcome in 2012 along with the backdrop of the Oban Firework Display. Now that you are awake, take a brisk walk along the Esplanade and blow away those cobwebs. For those feeling more energetic take a walk up on to Oban’s famous landmark, The McCaig Tower with its magnificent views across to the Islands of Mull and Kerrera.
